The people behind Adventurers.Group

The Frontiersmen guild.

A small crew that scouts the routes, picks the horses, and keeps the fire going.

Why we call it a guild.

A guild is a group of people who are good at one thing and care about doing it properly. Ours is getting a handful of riders across wild country on good horses, and back again.

We scout every route before you ride it. We camp the way we'd want to camp. We work with local horsemen and families who know the land far better than any map.

Adventurers.Group is the name on the door. The Frontiersmen are who you'll meet at the trailhead.

Founder

Sami Hermes started Adventurers.Group in Tbilisi.

He scouts the routes, rides them first, and answers the phone himself.

We ride the country the way the people who live there already do.

Horses, camps, weather calls, and the long days between trailheads.

If the horses need a rest, the day is over.

That is the whole trick.

How we travel

  • The horse sets the pace

We plan days around the herd, not around a schedule.

  • Camp is part of the trip

Building the shelter is half the fun of sleeping in it.

  • Small is better

Fewer riders, less noise, more country.

  • Be a good guest

We're riding through someone's home. We act like it.

Local horsemen ride with us in every country. In Georgia that is the families in Tusheti and Khevsureti.

Ride with us again.

People who've ridden with us get first word on new routes, scouting trips and private departures.
